The theatre is a run-down place, despite of its succes. Many suspect that the Board of Trust pockets the money after every show.
It used to be a place of marvel, architecture-wise, full of ornaments, beautiful statues, red carpets, drapes, heavy wooden balusters, crystal chandeliers, ...
Now worn and torn.
The shows are stories about the people of Harbat. They show the everyday life of the most common people. The last show told the tale of the average day of the baker. Getting up, eating breakfast, baking bread, selling bread, sleeping, using the toilet and at last the grand finale, going back to bed. The people love these plays. It enables them to see behind walls they usually can't see behind.
